Michelle Tanner is mother to 13-year-old, profoundly gifted child, Elliott Tanner. Throughout her hands-on journey of raising Elliott, she has gained significant knowledge of profoundly gifted children. She understands the trials and tribulations a family goes though while raising a PG child. Michelle has successfully advocated for Elliott’s educational path which includes radical accelerating and a full time college career that started when Elliott was 9 and college graduation at 11. Michelle has been active in the gifted community which includes serving four years on the the board of the Minnesota Council of Gifted and Talented Choices Chapter as Recorder, Vice President, and ultimately President. She has also made appearances and taken part on discussion panels at various educational conferences representing the profoundly gifted population and manages multiple social media groups for gifted parenting on social media platforms. Michelle is an advocate and resource for profoundly gifted kids and their parents. She shares Elliott’s journey, experiences, struggles, and the extraordinary rewards of raising a profoundly gifted child in her blog.
Outside of parenting and advocating, Michelle is a digital marketing specialist based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She loves to travel and spend quality time with her family which usually involves record stores, donut shops, and board games.
